“ Affordable ramen with an interesting twist. Their speciality is ramen with added chillis. Lots and lots of chillis. For those who likes chillis, I would certainly recommend the spot. The spiciness can drown the other taste notes though. A nice addition to the choices of restaurant in the island all in all. ”
“ Recently opened japanese restaurant, tho they claimed to be a fusion i see the menu options rather quite traditional, we tried the ramen and some sides, the sushi was not fully stocked at the time we ordered, the vegetables are pretty good with good portion size and the ramen is quite bland but once you add some soy sauce and more garlic it is nice and tasty to my taste. We tried the crispy mushroom which turned out not crispy and chewy but we still like them as it is. There is quite extensive vegetarian choices for a japanese restaurant here, including its ramen dishes and sides, so if you are on vegetarian diet this place can still be an option. ”

They made a new one with more fresh and proper. And i ate it very delicious. Well you should not give a old stock salmon to customer please ”

Love the Vegan spicy ramen, sambal matah rice (I’ve forgotten the name, but once you see the menu, you’ll know it), the vegan sushi is also tasty (I hope the taste & cleanliness are maintained & sustain) Yamakai also serves the non-vegetarian food as well. Coz I’ve never tried the non-vegetarian, I saw many people come by for meal. I bet it taste great The staffs are friendly, kind yet professional. The ambience is cozy and rather quite.. and I love it coz during this pandemic period, the place is not too crowded. Hope the safety (eg. social distancing rules, visitors limitations) is applied. Overall, I really love coming here for meal ”
“ The food was good, no complaints. The free refill tea has a VERY good aroma and aftertaste. And the egg pudding (idk the name ._.) is very good aswell The service was comendable. But there is a nitpick, like when the server put the food right next to my table, so i have to move the hot bowl onto my eating table. So a little bit not worth the service fee) but they were patient tho. I made an error about my payment and they still do a smile and fix my error with no heart feelings. So that nitpick part was forgiven. The atmosphere was nice, that's it, no complaints aswell. I like the experience eating here because i haven't eaten ramen and sushi for quite a while, and they gave me a classic ramen sushi eating experience. I'm satisfied. And it makes me want to explore more sushi dishes in the future. Not ramen, because of personal taste i guess v: it didn't gave me that wow moment, i like it because i was quite hungry, aaand when the ramen arrived, i forgot to take a photo of it ”
